Is translation from or into my native language available?

We have a large network of highly qualified native speaker translators that gives us access to translators of more than 140 languages and dialects. Chances are we speak your language.

How long does the process take?

Most documents take between 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends). However we can also deliver projects within a business day (depending on length and complexity). Custom quotes are available for unique documents and projects.

What types of documents do you translate?

We’ve never met a translation project we didn’t like. From civil documents like birth certificates and passports to technical manuals to websites and multi-media projects, we do it all. If you need to communicate beyond your language capabilities we’re happy to help.

What’s a certified translation?

A certified translation is a translation that is formatted on our company letterhead and bears a statement of certification saying that we attest to the validity and accuracy of the translation. Certification is different from getting a document notarized. We do not charge extra to have your document certified.

Do you notarize translations?

No we don’t notarize translations because we would then need to mail you the originals, which would add to your costs. If you absolutely need to have your translation notarized our sister site CertifiedTranslate does certified, notarized translations for a low flat rate. And they mail you the originals!

What’s a secure client portal?

When you create an account with us you create your own secure client portal which can only be accessed using a password you create. We’ll store your documents there so you can log in to track the progress of your translation. You can also use your portal to keep track of all your translation orders with us. This system ensures that your documents remain confidential.

How does the translation process work?

Upload your document to your secure client portal on our website. It will immediately be assigned to a translation specialist. It will then be reviewed and proofread by another specialist before we email it to you. You can recreate your own hard copy by printing the high resolution translation on a color printer.

Can I fax or email my document?

If time is of the essence it’s best to upload your document to our secure website. But we understand that sometimes this might not be possible. So yes you can send your document by fax to +1-310-564-1944 or email it to us at helpme@translately.com. But remember, it’s better (faster, easier) to upload the document directly to the site.

Can I get a hard copy sent to me?

Sorry we don’t have mail service. But we’ll send you a high-resolution document by email. Print it in color and you’ve essentially made yourself a hard copy. Minus the shipping costs of course.

What if I need to make changes to my translation?

Our process allows you to check the translation for accuracy, especially the spelling of names. We do our best to provide you with the most accurate translation possible. However, if you have any concerns or questions regarding your final translation, we are more than happy to have our translators review your document again at no additional charge.

Do I need to send the original copy of my document?

No. In fact, you should keep the original. We only ask that you upload a clean and legible copy of the original. Please do not send us original documents.
